How to Do a Reading with Raceway Revelations
Separate the Deck:
Divide the cards into two piles:
Kilometer Cards (including the Finish Line card).
Action Cards.
Lay Down the Start Line:
Begin every reading by placing the Start Line card.
Build the Track:
Draw cards from the Kilometer Pile one by one to create your track.
Continue laying down kilometer cards in sequence until:
You reach or exceed a total of 100 km.
OR you draw the Finish Line card, which ends the track regardless of the distance.
Determine the Number of Action Cards:
Example 1:
You draw: Start Line, 10 km, 20 km, 50 km, 10 km, 20 km.
Total: 6 cards (Start Line + 100 km).
Draw 6 Action Cards for your reading.
Example 2:
You draw: Start Line, 10 km, 50 km, Finish Line.
Total: 4 cards (Start Line + Finish Line ends the track).
Draw 4 Action Cards for your reading.
Positive Cards (Progress/Assistance) (2 of each card)
These cards represent movement, luck, or helpful circumstances in the race.
Green flag: A clear path forward; things are aligned.
Turbo Boost: Unexpected progress or a sudden breakthrough.
Pass Competitor: Gaining an advantage; surpassing obstacles.
Pit Stop: Rest and recovery lead to success.
Perfect Corner: Navigating challenges with skill and precision.
Refueled: Renewed energy or resources.
Clear Weather: Optimistic conditions; external factors align.
Fans: Support from others boosts morale.
Negative Cards (Setbacks/Challenges) (2 of each card)
These cards represent obstacles, delays, or difficulties.
Flat Tire: A small but frustrating setback.
Run Out of Fuel: A major energy or resource drain.
Red flag: Forced pause or waiting period.
Blocking: External interference or rivalry.
Bad Weather: External difficulties or bad luck.
